Program Leadership

My leadership approach connects staff support, program accountability, and practical problem-solving. I bring experience supervising housing case managers, managing shelter operations, and supporting organizational collaboration.

Supervision and mentoring

I currently supervise 10 housing case managers across three counties, providing individual support, mentoring, case conferencing, and guidance on housing services and referrals. I also support MSW student internships.

Earlier shelter leadership included supervising approximately 30 workers, developing training, and overseeing day-to-day operations.

Grant-funded programs and outcomes

My current responsibilities include grant management, internal audits, program fidelity reviews, monthly capacity and outcomes reporting, and internal data monitoring.

I collaborate with finance and leadership on grant applications and bring experience with multiple state, federal, local, and private funding programs.

Housing portfolio collaboration

I support affordable housing leasing, tenant services, and compliance monitoring, and work with property management and facilities teams on rehabilitation budgets and planning.

These responsibilities require connecting program standards, financial constraints, property conditions, and resident needs.

Professional growth and governance

Teaching and field instruction have shaped how I support professional development. I value clear expectations, reflective discussion, and practical guidance when staff encounter complex situations.

My volunteer service as Tenants Union treasurer and involvement in its Executive Leadership Transition Team add a governance perspective to my program leadership experience.
